About the Artist

My family moved to Boulder, Colorado, in 1998. My dad collected hundreds of children's books from all around the world before I was born. He worked 40–60 hours a week but always made time to read me a few books before bed every single night. I believe those loving times, pouring over some of the world's best artist-illustrated children's books, were seeding my creativity.
