Barbara Froula's paintings of Colorado and Western Landscapes, and her Cityscapes of Boulder, Denver, Vail, Prague and others, capture a sense of place with warmth and detail. Hundreds of commissioned paintings for Historic Boulder, Historic Denver, the Bolder Boulder, History Colorado, the Brown Palace Hotel, the Central City Opera, the Anchutz Collection and more have created a body of work that reveal her esteem for our treasured places and landmarks. Barbara attended Auburn University and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, receiving an Architecture degree and the AIA medal. She recently designed and built a home/studio on a mountain ridge overlooking Boulder, where much of her original work is on display.
