I work as an architectural color consultant (color designer, materials coordinator for residential, commercial and public/historic buildings). Living in Lyons for the past 21 years, I have been active in several major community art projects: the Lyons Mural Project, Lyons Visitor Center, completed June 2003; the Lyons Clarifier Community Mosaic, www.clarifierproject.net; most recently, community painted tile installation in Lyons' new Community Library. An artist and art educator for many years (BFA, CU Boulder), I currently have a show up at the Lyons Fork restaurant, "Rearrangements: High Water- Reflections on Lyons 2013 Flood", through Dec. 2019. It includes mixed media paintings, photographs and 'flood artifacts'. Channel 9 Denver recently did a piece on me and this show. https://www.9news.com/article/news/local/storytellers/storytellers-artist-shares-flood-stories/73-696293ea-386d-4e53-a99f-0757c65c0872 I do occasional workshops through Western Stars Gallery in Lyons. I am a happy traveler on my creative journey.
