Fluid art is pouring paint using various tools and techniques onto a substrate (canvas, tile, rock, even 3-D objects like vases and bowls) and tilting the substrate to move the paint over it. This produces an organic look to the piece that is pleasing to the eye (or maybe just my eye). No brushes. You never know what it's going to look like. I love that! The paint and I collaborate on the outcome but I can’t plan the final result. Sometimes it doesn't work out and sometimes it does. The possible outcomes seem to be unlimited and often amazing. Something spiritual about acceptance somewhere in there.
