Dana Feiss

I'm an athlete-turned-artist merging flora and fauna in my botanical surrealist work. Capturing movement and metamorphoses are essential in my visual exploration of what it means to bloom - in physicality, in mind, in spirit. I create in pastel, acrylic, and watercolor across medium- and large-scale pieces to expand these blooms in vibrant and unique spaces. Nature, the environment, and the outdoor experience have always been an integral part of my being; my subjects seek to strengthen that innate connectin that all humans retain - no matter how far we may feel that we have drifted from it.
