"Silver Bells" 24" x 30" Arcrylic on Canvas. I've always preferred to color outside the lines – in my life, in my career and in art. I graduated with a BFA from Ohio University studying painting, graphic design, printmaking, and photography; and won my fair share of awards & scholarships. When I graduated I headed to New York City (where I spent the majority of my career) starting as a book designer, becoming a creative director and eventually rising up in publishing and retail to become the senior marketing executive over many iconic brands including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Self, Men’s Health, Loft and Talbots. I was blessed to have access (and responsibility for) nurturing some of the world’s top talent in design, photography and art. Every new endeavor has inspired me with the possibilities to forge an authentic, emotional, memorable connection with people and the culture at large. For decades my private passion was my art. It’s now my public passion. I’m deeply inspired by the spectacular beauty of Colorado and our natural environment. I hope my work brings you joy, that you feel something new, something unexpected and personal.
