Deb Nakano has been dabbling in computer arts and photography for many years… by using pictures of buildings and their interiors as attachments to field inspection reports and using a point and shoot camera. With a long history of working in the Property Management industry and paying attention to construction and property condition details, then as an inspector for insurance companies and lenders, Deb has been a professional (as in being paid for…) photographer for years. Recently she has combined that experience by utilizing her extensive computer experience and love of photography into “Fine Art”. Upgrading her camera and Photoshop skills she keeps experimenting and learning in order to create. Deb has won a few local and international awards for her entries with these designs from the thousands of old and new photos from many travels including the Peace Corps at age 60! She belongs to local artist associations; Longmont Artist Guild (LAG), Arts Longmont, St Vrain Photography Club and various online art and photography groups such as Light Space & Time and Ugly Hedgehog. Deb moved to Colorado as a preschooler and is proud and happy to be a “Native” Coloradoan and recently a Longmont resident. I'm a Colorado 'native' with rolling roots. A field inspector by trade and semi retired with a long history of work comes first. I get to finally follow my passion and creativity. Working with photos for many years in my businesses, I can now create something out of the thousands of pictures collected and get out and find new inspirations! I hope you like them.
