Often an idea will “percolate” in my dreams for several years before taking shape as an actual tapestry weaving. I love the materials. I love the tactile sensation of working them through my fingers, onto the loom, and into a design. But most of all, I am drawn to color. That stash of yarn on my shelves is a constant source of inspiration. Color is what drives me to design and weave. My subjects are most often objects and scenes found in nature, and color is my inspiration. I create woven pictures that please me and my hope is that others will derive pleasure from them as well.”
