Jamie Gordon

Jamie is from Queens, New York the eldest daughter of seven children and the first in her family to earn a college degree. She graduated with honors from Queensboro Community College in 1974 with an Associate of Arts degree. One week after graduating she moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado, After one year New York State discontinued her student loan so Jamie had to postpone school and get a job. . When she reapplied to school as a Colorado resident she was delighted to discover that she was awarded a full scholarship! With nothing else to stop her she graduated the summer of 1977 and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
