Watercolor is my treasure trove of discovery & alchemy. Watercolor is an alluring medium; I love the transparency, luminosity, portability & foremost the fluidity of watercolor. It's magical & captivating how colors merge with one another, and a blank page comes alive. I paint the feminine, awe-inspiring beauty-flowers, foliage, seasonality, adornment. A theatre of dreams with flourishes of fantasy. Observing nature is a continual source of solace, vitality & gratitude. And on the flip side of loveliness, I don't shy away from painting the ugly, dark, undercurrents of loss & pain. I paint the full chromatic spectrum; from the glorious, featherlight, palace of wonder to the heavy, hidden depths of despair from our wounds.
