I’ve been doing art all of my life. I’ve had some training through various universities, private instruction, Sitka Art and Ecology Institute, Oregon Society of Artists and Colleague Artists - where ever I’m able to learn new skills. Art is my saving grace through a journey of teaching, raising family, brain cancer and doing what needs to be done. I’ve lived primarily in the western part of the U.S.A. I hike, walk, paddle and bike - I crave the infusion of the natural world and use that as my focus in painting. My art has evolved through these life experiences with the use of texture, motion and emotion. The work is in oils, acrylics and watercolor.
