My involvement with jewelry of all types included making bead and wire items in college for spending money, to selling and refurbishing vintage and antique jewelry, and even selling loose diamonds in a traditional fine jewelry store. Later, after leaving a ten year career in a corporate natural foods manufacturing business, I had time to reconnect with a friend who told me about a silversmith class that sounded like a good path to creating jewelry full time. I took a couple of beginner classes and I was hooked! Since then, I have studied with various professional jewelers to enhance my knowledge and experience. I hand fabricate jewelry in my Colorado studio using Sterling Silver, 14 to 24 Karat Gold and natural stones and beads.
