Margaret van Vliet

I’ve always loved discovering the essence of people and places, learning what I feel about them. I love color, transparency of watercolors, the feel of working with different media, found objects, and the quick, clear definition of pen & ink. I often work in series, one piece affecting and unfolding into the next. I find my work truly comes alive when others see it, allow themselves to be drawn into it, and with their unique viewpoint co-create a new experience growing out of the work itself. Abstract, organic, contemplative . . . I love sharing these expressions of Who I am, of my experience of life and Spirit, from Neighborhood Mandalas to The Universe Story and beyond.
