In a most fortunate stroke of luck, Marlaina moved to Boulder, CO in the summer of 2013 to be close to family and found her inspiration through nature. At the time raising a 2 year old, Marlaina found her ‘style’ , Modern Impressionism, while using extremely saturated colors. “The textures I developed in Faux Finishing have inspired some of my latest landscapes. The intense colors and natural setting in Colorado have inspired my passion and desire to create something beautiful. I feel grateful to live in such a special place. Boulder is an ‘Artist’s Dream!’. I look forward to continuing to explore my surroundings and create heartfelt paintings!”
