Melody Huisjen

Melody Faith has a passion for evoking joy through color and creation. A counselor by profession but a mother first, Melody’s daughters inspired her to create “hideaway boxes” for kids, and she opened her business, Hideaway Art & Craft 2 years ago. Her lifelong love of miniatures has led her to create lighted, hand-painted and assembled shadow boxes that highlight words of inspiration, faith, memories and introspection. She also offers customizable paintings with watermedia, acrylic, pastel, and ink. Melody has a talent for finding a subject’s true inner shine and showing it in her work. She has led art workshops for diverse audiences. She opens her Golden studio to mentors and mentees, nonprofits, and more.
