Patti Burton

I am a Multi media artist, who started my career as a metal smith jewelry artist, and then evolved my love of creating to include clay, mixed media, mono printing and acrylic painting. All my work reflects my passion for saturated color, bold imagery and thinking outside of the box, with an occasional pinch of magic. My jewelry incorporates beautiful gemstones from around the world, setting them into compositions of silver and gold. This process allows me to take beautiful stones from the earth, and make them into a little treasure that people can wear and pass on through generations. My Painting and clay reflect a more playful, loose side of my style. I love playing with saturated color, layers, repetition and imagery that evokes memories from simpler times, like a beautiful old barn, or laundry drying on the line on a summer day I am an acrylics based artist with a mixed-media approach to composition.
