Do you ever feel the pull of the moon as it waxes and wanes, the spirit of the land as it changes and cycles, the call of your soul to wander?

Do you ever feel the pull of the moon as it waxes and wanes, the spirit of the land as it changes and cycles, the call of your soul to wander? I investigate these themes by transcribing myths of the land, the moon, and the stars into dynamic artworks that explore what it means to be human in an ever-changing world. Areas of my oil paintings are finely rendered, steadfast in reality, while other areas are abstract and obscure. In this way, I seek to imitate life and the spirit of creation, which can sometimes seem so concrete and at other times, dreamy and transcendent. My inspiration comes from change: the change of seasons, the cycles of the moon, and the changes we go through as we move through our lives. A sense of longing and wonder permeates my art, hopefully speaking directly to your spirit by weaving a tapestry of shared emotions and experiences between us.
