Forest , I invite viewers to encounter a guardian of the wild places — a being both ephemeral and eternal. This sculpture represents a majestic stag whose spirit has become one with the land itself. The flowing, root-like body suggests a merging with earth and time, while the branching antlers, adorned with bronze leaves, symbolize life, vigilance, and the sacred cycle of nature. The stag watches with serious, unwavering eyes, a protector whose presence demands respect and mindfulness. Viewers are not merely observers — they are participants entering his domain. This work asks: What are your intentions in the forest? What spirit do you bring to the wild? In crafting Spirit of the Forest , I sought not to capture an animal, but to embody the presence and wisdom of the natural world itself — a reminder that even now, there are places where ancient spirits still stand guard.
