"I believe art brings us home and allows us to contact peace, reflection, and compassion. Art enables us to see life through the eyes of another, seeing beyond our usual confines and perspectives. I was born 1976 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Chilean parents who were refugees having just escaped the military coup d’etat. When I was one and a half, we fled Argentina’s dictatorship and dirty war. We landed in California in 1978.
