I hope to preserve the unique Traditions of my Hispanic culture. Retablos are the story tellers of my ancestors, I have 27 years experience the this field and aspire to represent my work the simplicity of our culture. My family settled in 1800 the San Luis Valley of Colorado. I was accepted in Spanish Colonial Art Society in 1995 in Santa Fe to show the Art that has been part of the town peoples. I won many awards in this culture nation wide , Eight Museums, Galleries and Churches. I use local woods hand carve and make hand made gesso is applied using natural water pigments and pinion sap varnish. The piece image is Saint for needs of worship.
