After straying from clay in 1981 to explore other visual arts, I rediscovered my passion for ceramics in 2014 through the Boulder Potters’ Guild. For me, "making" is more than just a creative outlet or a side-hustle—it’s where I’m happiest. My current work often blends the tactile process of clay with my influences from nature, woodworking and building. Beyond the studio, teaching at the Guild since 2015 has provided me with a deep sense of community and the opportunity to mentor others in the craft I love.
